FRIVOULOUS FRIDAY
April 08, 2016
I am sure that most of you already know about those lovely little tins otherwise known as FRIVOLS. Yes, Frivols... something fun, something a bit frivolous and something definitely worth having.
...this is our STRAWBERRY FIELDS REVISITED FRIVOL... it is of course my favorite one in the lot. Yes, of course we are just a tad bit biased :-)
To find out more about the FRIVOL... just in case you have been sewing under a rock for the last year.. click HERE for our full blog post about it.
I was asked what my favorite part of my FRIVOL tin is? Well the tin itself is pretty darn cute! So I guess its kind of a toss up between the tin and the strawberry label [you get two of those little guys]. Really I am looking into how I can print a lot more of those little suckers!
In case you would like to grab one of the few FRIVOLS we have left in stock [yes, we did restock!], click HERE.
...photo stolen from my friend Greg of greydogwoodstudio.com
What you might not know about the FRIVOL is that it is an entire collection that will have 12 lovely little tins by the time its done. I believe that they are currently working on 9-12 for the last four. Have you thought about collecting the entire lovely group? Just a thought....
Cool Beans!
And what you might really not know is that we are having a FRIVOL GIVEAWAY here on the blog for our #6 STRAWBERY FIELDS FRIVOL. Yeah!
If you decide to buy one from us [while we still have 'em] and you win the giveaway, we will refund your payment for sure so don't wait too long...
So just leave a comment below to be entered to win. Tell me what your next project is going to be! GOOD LUCK WITH THE GIVEAWAY!
Joanna
Thank you for your generosity and frivolous offer!
A vintage table runner is on my to-do list next and your Strawberry Fields would be perfect to compliment my decor.

Good day. I LOVE the Strawberry Fields collection! I would like to make a wall hanging to go over the fireplace. All of the Fig Tree items are beautiful and inspirational. Hoping to win this wonderful tin. Have a great day, Terri

I LOVE your entire line of fabric. I'm looking to make a table quilt with your Farmhouse collection. I did not know about Frivols, I guess I have been living under a rock for the past year. Thank you!

The best part about the Frivols is the fabric (first) and then the tin (second). :-) I haven't tried a Frivol yet, but would like to. My next project (this weekend) will be the Strawberries For Sale Flour Sack Towel kit that just arrived in yesterday's mail.... this will be the first time I'm trying the Aurifloss, so looking forward to it! And, the fabric in the kit is soooo pretty! :-) Have a great weekend!

My next project will be a quilt for my daughter who is headed off to college next year. I want her to have something to remind her that I love her and help her feel close to home when she needs it.

Oh, how fun! I've never tried a frivols tin before, but what a great idea!
Posted by: Michelle M | April 08, 2016 at 04:21 AM
My next project is a baby quilt for a new grandbaby! I'm looking forward to making this - it's very contemporary and a bit outside of my typical design. Should be fun!

I have collected all the Frivol tins. I made Hello Darling, and gifted it to a great-aunt in a nursing home. I'm working on making Bread 'N Butter into a queen-sized quilt. But the others are patiently awaiting my attention. π

Love Strawberry Fields Revisited! I'm thinking my next project is a scrap quilt using several of your past lines all combined into one gorgeous quilt...for me! I give away so many quilts that I want one made with lots of your fabrics for myself. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway, Joanna.

A quilt for my son's room-he's 7 and will probably want to change his decor before I finally make this! Unless of course I win the frivolous, then that will be my next project ;) sorry, son!

I love cute little containers too! Just think what you could store in them once the fabric is usedπ. I have so many projects on the go already, but I really think my next project has to a high school graduation quilt for our son, who graduates in June! Eeeek, that is coming up quick!
Thanks for this cute give-away!

I'm trying to finish some UFO's. Won't start anything new before classes at Quilt Odyssey. Of course, I could probably fit in a small, new project. (grin!)

I love all the frivols, but yours is especially great because I really like the fabric line. My next project is a wall hanging made from dresden flowers. Thanks for the giveaway.

I would either make a table runner or a picnic quilt next. The frivol would go well together with the strawberry fields runner I already have. Thanks for the chance to win.

Lovely! As soon as I put the binding on our birthdays runner I'm starting a long runner for LR media cabinet. Going to use a charm pack of Dandelion Girl!

Love these frivols packages, but the shipping costs kept stopping me from joining. Your fabric and pattern is so cute in this package. Right now I am finishing my Jelly Roll Slice Quilts. Each roll makes two - so of course I had to make four and noticed I had enough from the leftovers to make a fifth. Do I like sewing - :)!? Thank you for this giveaway chance. Love your videos with Kimberly!!

The fabric is stunning! The box is pretty adorable too. I've finished a bunch of UFOs lately and need to find something to spark my quilting mojo again - this would definitely work!

Snagged! I do love the strawberry theme and had gotten a bundle of the SFR so this Frivol was a "must" :) I'm also swept into an embroidery phase so I'm thinking of embellishing that label with some stitching....

Thank you for the chance to win. I love these tins! Hence, the obvious answer to your question is: make a frivols quilt :)! I am also working on a Farmers wife quilt, but these frivols are just so very cute that history tells that I will find a way to have it fit with my planning!

Oh my, I would love to win this SFR Frivols Tin, although I will admit she would probably sit out in my sewing room (or my living room) as decoration for a while!! (I'm weird that way.) My next project will be a pouch with a view in SFR so that I can sweetly store my Crossroads blocks. Hoping to get that little project finished this weekend. Thanks so much for the chance!

How to decide what project is next??? Should I finish the 6 tops that need quilt and bound? Or piece the message quilt for my son now that I've finished the letters? Or finish the blocks for Mom's Mother's Day table topper? Or grab that new charm square packet and that super cute new pattern I found? Yup, that's the one!! Unless I win the adorable Frivol!!!
Posted by: Harlan89@mchsi.com | April 08, 2016 at 05:34 AM
I am working on the one by Bonnie and Camille right now. I really like the lighter brighter colors and the smaller sizes are such a nice treat. Your fabrics have always been so cheerful. Your frivol is next!
