Lotsa bolts
Winner coming up!

I am so very excited and proud to share with you, my latest "baby". Many a times I did indeed compare it to child birth so I guess the metaphor has stuck!

My new book....

It feels like it has been such a long time in the coming but I guess if I look at it all with better perspective, it hasn't been that long at all- at least not for a book process that is!

I will tell you much more in the upcoming weeks and share a lot of fun stuff about the process & the projects. For now I am just happy to show you this!

The book showcases projects that are both geared towards quilters as well as sewers and focuses on both of these wonderful worlds in separate sections of the book!

Leave a comment telling me what topic in the book-  QUILTING or SEWING- you are most excited about or interested in and I will enter you to win a mini bundle of our newest fabric collection, California Girl!

We will draw at the end of this week so be sure to check back.

Can't wait to hear which "side" you are coming from. Geesh, I can barely wait to show you more goodies!

Quilting. Thank you for all beautiful things

Quilting! But I am intrigued by the sewing projects as well. thanks for the giveaway!

I love the creativity of both quilting and sewing. The combination of topics is great. Thank you!

I have been sewing and quilting for decades and still wish I could be doing one or the other every day. Whichever project strikes my fancy is where I'll start. Sometimes enjoying the book is joy enough when a day of work or gardening gets all the energy. LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!

Both! Can't wait to see the book - love the cover. Thank you for the chance to win.

Can't wait to check out the sewing projects. It is nice to have a little change in projects.

Tough choice, but I'm old school, gotta say sewing and quilting is the bonus. Would love to see my 6 year old granddaughter (my New Jersey girl!) under one of your California Girl quilts!

Definitely, most excited to see the 'quilting' sections. Thanks for the chance to win.

I would love some sewing patterns that use leftover quilting fabric.

Definitely quilting but I want to get into sewing as well. Congratulations on the new book! I'm very happy for you.

You can't go wrong with quilting and I love your patterns already! Really looking forward to the book!

Quilting is my passion, but I have been known to sew up a cute apron or bag pattern, as well. I'm looking forward to seeing your new book. Congratulations! Linda

Quilting? Sewing? I love both, quilting beautiful quilts and sewing wonderful bags, skirts, aprons and of course dresses for my granddaughter. Can't wait to buy the BOOK:)

Tough choice. I love your style in both deprtments. I would probably go with sewing because you have such great techniques with your sewing projects that I would like to learn. The cover is gorgeous. It is now on my wish list. Thanks!

I love both but have been spending a lot more time sewing little projects lately. Can't wait to see the book!

I am a quilter but I have to say I would love to branch out into sewing more and projects that maybe don't take as long as a quilt! Also I am trying to organize a little retreat for a small group of friends and I think your book may be just the ticket to inspire some great sewing time ! Thanks for your continued inspiration...

Sewing is may passion...anything needle & thread. Love the title of your new book, Congratulations!

This would be a hard choice for me as I am both! I started sewing first in my creative life and in the last 13 years or so have been a quilter. So perhaps quilting is first for me, but I'd love to check out and perhaps make some of the sewing projects! California Girl is so sweet~so you with a little extra freshness. Would love to add it to my stash to make one of your new projects!

I love both, when I sew or quilting for me are the great moments of relaxation. Sorry for my english.

Quilting mostly but sewing also. Thanks for the giveaway

I've been sewing for a couple of years. I would love to learn how to quilt.

Quilting definitely. Quilting is such an creative, exciting habit!

I'm eagerly awaiting the sewing section! (I'm not a quilter.) I love your blog and take such inspiration from it! Thank you so much!

Congratulations! I'm most interested in the quilting section but who knows, I might just have to try my hand at a sewing project!

Quilting!! Love the California Girl fabrics.

Looking forward to the quilting section.

I am primarily a quilter, but I have a 1 year old grand daughter that I have been sewing for. Sundresses are in her future again this summer

I am excited about the quilting but look forward to seeing what other projects you've included!

My favorite is quilting, I grew up sewing so I like both. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway, I can't wait to get my copy of you new book. ;-> Toni Anne

Quilting, definitely!

I would like to know more about the pretty flower on the cover!! Thx for opportunity to win the fabric - those are beautiful, soft colors!!

Quilting for sure, however I am quite in the mood for other sewing projects. I can't wait to own a copy of your new book. Congratulations and thank you for the opportunity to win gorgeous Fig Tree fabric. Good luck on Round 2!

I would say the quilting portion! thanks!

Quilting, quilting, quilting....

Both....... Can't wait to see what's new. Love, Love, Love your fabrics, colors and ideas! So cheerful and just puts a smile on my face. Thank You.......

I'm a quilter! Hope you win the challenge

Oh my goodness Quilts & Sewing! I'm really obsessed with quilt books though!

I go back and forth between the two as the ages and stages of my life vary. I started out sewing quilts while living with my ailing grandmother as a young girl. Through college I sewed. Marriage and my own home brought lots of quilting, babies brought both, and now I struggle to find time for any of it!!! But my children will grow up and leave me--a mixed bag of feelings, here--and I will again have long hours to fill with... Sewing? Quilting? How about BOTH!!!

Well, I am a sewer who quilts...or is that a quilter who sews???? LOL either way I already have your new book on my preorder list. I just purchased Fresh Vintage Sewing last week and I don't know why I waited so long to get it because I LOVE everything in it...but I must admit I just adore the sewing projects and I just finished a few little eggs using some Strawberry Fields charms- they are adorable! Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

Can't wait to get the book. Love the front cover.

I can't wait to see both the quilting and sewing projects! You have the MOST beautiful fabric lines. They truly "speak" to me. I voted for you, too. Good luck!

Quilting - what else??

It's hard to choose because I enjoy both. But if I must choose, then it will be quilting. The cover is beautiful. Can't wait to see the inside and make a few!

Do I really have to pick, quilting I guess but then you take me to the inspiration zone with so much with more than just that. So I just can't wait for the book release in Australia. Wendy

Texas Quilter "Quilting - what else??"

Quilting is my favorite, but if a sewing project is cute or inspiring, I'm all over it!

Quilting...Love the California Girl fabric, Great Job!

Quilting, although I love sewing, too. :)

Quilting excites me but I also sew on other projects. Am anxious to see your new book. Congratulations on your accomplishment!!! And California Girl is just luscious!!!! I would be on Cloud 9 if I won a bundle from you. Thanks for the nice giveaway!

The Quilting side. Thanks for the opportunity to win :)
