A Little Valentine

If you know me, you know that I am not much of a heart person. Just not my thing. But this time of the year, I just can't resist I guess. We were making more scrap bags [back up on the site just in case you were wondering] and I came across some of these yummy creams, super soft pinks and light greys. We tossed in a few coral hearts and a table runner was born.

Although as you can see... it might end up on the foot of my bed as a "bed runner" instead at the rate I'm going. I just love the idea of putting a little bit of color at the end of my bed. Usually we fold up an entire quilt there but this bed runner idea is quickly growing on me....

So here is the new "Hearts Afloat" Valentine's Table [ or Bed] Runner ".

We even managed to whip up a couple dozen kits while we were at it. Just in case you might need one. You know... just in case.

The runner is 16 1/2" x 45".

It is an excerpt from our upcoming Fresh Vintage #20 issue. Since the issue itself is not quite ready for print, the kits will contain a printout of this pattern only and not the entire issue. For those of you who wait a few weeks and order the issue #20 [or are already on auto ship for Fresh Vintage], you will receive this pattern inside your issue. The kit is separate and limited.

Talk to you soon.

cute!

Oh goody, I will get the pattern when my Fresh Vintage arrives.. It's lovely.

What a great valentines picture.I came across some of these yummy creams, super soft pinks and light grays.

I love the hearts beautiful

So light and airy! Perfect!

Love it!

Delicious...slightly addicted to your Fresh Vintage magazine, so will try and be patient. The bed runners are a winner, aren't they? Maybe it's a girl thing, my husband's a bit bewildered to find yet another thing - after all the cushions - that he has to take off the bed before he can get in it!! x

Oh gosh, I love this! The colorway is fabulous and I love the center heart focal point!

Nicely done!

So so STUNNING ... just love your creations!

I never really like any table runners for February because of the red hearts, but this one is just perfect. Will be ordering this. Thank you. Corinne

No more kits left, will have to wait for the pattern

Love the pattern, it is beautiful! I'm not real heartsy either, but would like to make one for all the people I love, that would be a lot. I like Nicola's comment, with the pillows and everything that my husband has to take off so he can go to bed...the three legged dog didn't have anywhere to sleep, because it went on the floor. oh, of course the dog hair when my husband just put things on the floor! I need one of those lovely benches at the end of the bed for pillows, bed runners, quilts...etc. Please Lord forgive me for my passion of fabrics, Fig Tree Fabrics that is. I always ask/say, I hope when we are in heaven, will we have fabric? Fig Tree That Is!!!

The orange hearts do look very pretty. Orange is not a colour I use frequently-- but this has made me think that I should start using more orange in my patchwork.

Such a pretty pattern! Yay that I will get it when my Fresh Vintage arrives! As always, love the blog & thank you for sharing!

I love the colors and the judicious use of hearts. Thanks for sharing!
