"Kiss Me"

I am quite certain that I have said this before and I will surely say it again, but almost every time we release a new set of patterns, I have a favorite. I feel like I shouldn't have one, but I do.

Almost from the instant we start sewing the blocks together or the pieces get cut out for the bag, I just know. This will be my favorite this time around. A lot of the times its about the color choices in a particular project but sometimes its about the design or the way that I am feeling when I design it.

This was one of those quilts. From the moment I started playing with those reds and greys, and hints of yellow, green and pink in the florals, somehow I knew it would be one of my all-time favorites. And it is. So far.

.... here it is with one of my favorite flowers in the world. French Tulips. These my hub happened to get for me for our 16th wedding anniversary last week. So glad I managed to catch a shot of them with the quilt.

... the simple applique flowers along the bottom just me smile. Simple but lovely.

And so you guessed it, I just couldn't resist and we have kitted it for you. I think that maybe might be one of your all time favorites too!

It IS beautiful! You did a wonderful job.. that applique flower is just the right touch.. and Strawberry Fields.. well just that alone is a delight!

Simple, delicious! The pattern is perfect for the fabrics, so serendipitous.

It's beautiful, very pretty!

Regards

This is such a beautiful quilt! The French Tulips are so pretty with it as well!

Love those soft reds. So beautiful... and timely too: have just been pouring over the pictures of vintage red and white quilts being exhibited in New York and the postman delivered you lovely "Twinkle" booklet yesterday, with it's very own homage to red and white! I really neeeeeed to make a red and white quilt. In the meantime I'm off to but some red tulips!! x

So beautiful! Speaking of Strawberry Fields, I cannot wait until June! I signed up for the BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop that uses Strawberry Fields and am so anxious to get sewing!

absolutely GORGEOUS, Joanna!! Love those tulips, too!! Happy anniversary!! Thanks for your beautiful inspiration!

Oh my goodness! This quilt definitely speaks to me in so many ways -not only your gorgeous fabrics, but the color placement and the touch of appliqué. Simply perfect. I think I need to make a king-sized one for my bed and add some extra appliqué to the top! Kudos to you Joanna, on another hit!

So soft and pretty. Beautiful job!

PS, Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Fig!! : )

Happy anniversary! :) The flowers really complement it perfectly, don't they?! I especially like the appliqué at the bottom.

I really love this quilt and would love to make it but I always stop myself when I figure out the postage to Canada which is always ridiculous. If I decide to visit my friend in Colorado this year maybe I will have some things sent to her. Anyway I still buy your fabrics in jelly rolls etc. which don't cost quite as much to send. Congratulations on 16 years. Blessings Sandra

Well even with a pile of sewing to do I couldn't resist! Love this pattern Joanna and just had to have the kit...lol!

Love the colors and pattern

Oh! I love it! (And I don't usually even like red, but yours is a special red!)

I love it, the reds really draw me in, especially the older I get.

It's seriously a shock to discover your website. The material of your respective web-site is incredibly helpful, as well as the layout of it truly is wonderful, also. Thank you for your details. Would it be attainable for you personally spend a visit to our internet?

I love these fabrics and have now pre-ordered them! Can't wait to get them. I'm going to make the "Sit Upons", tablecloth and new curtains for my kitchen ... and maybe a quilt .. love this one! I stole a copy of your "Kiss Me" quilt photo to blog about. I hope you don't mind!
