Fall Around Here
Pattern Debut #4 & a Special!

Pattern Showcase #2

This is one of those patterns that I seem to come back to again and again. It was directly inspired by a vintage version that fell in love with at first sight. I first introduced it as one of the feature patterns in our Fresh Vintage series several years ago. That issue sold out so quickly that we made it into a stand alone Fig Tree pattern soon after.,

Then recently I thought it was time to revise it once again, make it out of all new fabrics, new directions and diagrams and add a little something. So Prairie Sweets Revisited was born.

.... this brand new version made from a combination of Fresh Cottons and Breakfast at Tiffany's collections.

.... I just love how these blocks are so simple, so graphic and so basic to construct.

... a few subtle cream backgrounds add another dimension to the pieced blocks.

... my favorite part of this new version of the pattern is that we have added a new size, Baby Sweets with a miniature version of the block and the quilt. These little blocks are just the cutest things I have seen in a long time. We get so many requests these days for baby quilts, we thought this would be the perfects solution, as appropriate for girls as for boys, all depending on what colors you choose.

... Baby Sweets model made with a nice mix of some of our latest lines- Breakfast at Tiffany's, Fresh Cottons, Mill House Inn and even a little bit of Patisserie mixed in. I just love the combination!!

... another Baby Sweets version shown here, made entirely out of our new Buttercup collection that we just showed in Houston a few weeks back. Buttercup will be in stores in February, 2011.
